SAYING GOODBYE

We have officially made it to our first destination! After a forever-long day of packing, Kevin and I got into Forest, VA last night (why does packing always take longer than you think?) Today will be full of unpacking, organizing, packing, reorganizing, and realizing how much we are actually going to have to ship to Washington. We had a fantastic last weekend in Charlottesville, hitting five vineyards for wine tasting, eating lots of local Charlottesville food and hanging out with friends. One of the only good things about leaving has been having an excuse to document some of the best friends I have made in C-Ville.

Lauren and I met through the online-dating version of finding your first year roommate: Facebook. After dozens of emails, phone conversations and texts, we decided that we could make a good match for our first year at UVA. Little did we know then that we would instantly become best friends, live together again second year, and remain close for years to come.

Lauren - you are beautiful inside and out and I am so lucky to have you as a friend!
