Day One with Lemon!
Yesterday we brought home the cutest little ball of fluff... Miss Lemon Ruth! She is an adventurous little puppy that loves to play with her tennis ball, chew on everything, but can also fall asleep in your lap at the drop of a hat. She is absolutely precious which helps when potty training. We love her so much and can't wait to learn and grow together! Welcome to the family, Lemon!!

Summer!
We were so excited to find out last night that we will get to take home beautiful Summer! We noticed her as the whitest of the Blenheim girls and the breeders dubbed her the "athlete" crawling around like crazy at 2 weeks old. We are so excited that we will get to call this sweet girl ours! T-11 days to go!

Puppy visit!
Erica is in town for Jeff's Change of Command so we used this as an excuse to go visit the puppies again! They are walking now and becoming more adorable than ever. I can't believe how fast they are growing - they weigh about 3lbs now! In 4 weeks (end of July) they will be evaluated for show quality and then begin to be paired with future parents! August 16th is coming quickly!

New Addition!
Kevin & I got to meet our future puppy for the first time! We don't know if we'll be getting a girl or boy, Blenheim (brown and white) or tri (black, white and brown) yet, but our little bundle will be coming home August 16th! We are beyond excited!

#1: TILLAMOOK
One thing I love discovering about the Pacific Northwest is a new knowledge of Native American lingo. If I had to make a completely uneducated guess, I would say that approximately 4 out of 5 proper nouns in Washington come from the Native American heritage. This makes things like city names, rivers, casinos, anything really, difficult, yet extremely fun to pronounce. Today's Native American word is Tillamook. Pronounced (I think) "till-a-muck", Tillamook is a now nationally known dairy company, which produces anything a lactos-intolerant person would avoid, including butter (seen here from our Thanksgiving day preparations) and bowl-licking-good ice cream. Located in the top left corner of Oregon, Tillamook Dairy is a true staple in the Pacific Northwest! More difficult-to-pronounce Native American lingo coming your way soon!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
We had a wonderful thanksgiving with Kevin's family in Washington yesterday - complete with 4 different pies, turkey, ham and all the fixings. We got to serve thanksgiving on captain Ruth's carrier to all the sailors in the morning - so much to be thankful for! I loved getting to FaceTime with my sister, brother in law, nephew, mom, and grandparents all the way in Florida - technology is a beautiful thing! Off to the EstyRAIN trunk show in downtown Seattle to support some local artisans on Black Friday - i hope every one had a wonderful thanksgiving!
